The 2008 sleepover packet will be mailed and downloadable in June.
The Nationwide Girls Ministries Sleepover takes place on the fourth Friday and Saturday of September. To plan for the event, a Theme/Sleepover packet is mailed to churches that have Mpact/Teen Girl Clubs. The packet contains annual Theme material, Sleepover plans, and a new catalog. It also contains resources such as activity suggestions, a devotion, and a product order form to enhance any Sleepover.
In conjunction with Sleepover, churches are encouraged to participate in the Coins for Kids offering.
A new mailing list is compiled each year and includes all churches that meet one of the following requirements:
Assemblies of God churches (that reported using National Girls Ministries Week offering) on the Annual Church Ministries Report
- Previous church donors to the Coins for Kids project
- Previous church donors to the National Girls Ministries Week offering
- Any church that purchased items in excess of $10 in the previous calendar year
